What price per gram will I get paid?

The price will be based on The Chapel Jewellers Ltd prices, shown on there website. We will pay you the rate that is shown on the website, when we receive the package and process your items. 
 

What happens when you receive my package?

Firstly we check the contents of the package, if there's anything that needs attention we'll contact you to clarify the items and what we can do, otherwise if it's straightforward we'll process the items, contacting you shortly after to confirm the price we'll buy it for and any other details about your items.
 

Why don't you do prepaid packs or cover the postage costs?

Unfortunately due to our very low profit margins, we don't cover postage. We pay so high on our rates, we aren't able to cover the cost of postage.
 

I have items with stones, glass, watch movements or charms with non-gold parts, how do you process these items?

We will contact you to clarify what we can and can't do with items before processing it. We do not do anything without your permission.
 

I have some items I'm not sure are gold, is it something you can check?

Yes we can check. We have the latest technology to analyze gold, silver, platinum, palladium & diamonds. 
 

When will I be paid?

Once we've contacted you and you're happy with the price, payments are typically made by the end of the working day. If we aren't able to contact you by the end of the day, we will try again on the next working day.
 

I have items to be returned to me, what is the procedure?

Any items being returned to you will be sent back via Royal Mail Special Delivery at your cost. We will only charge you what it costs, no extra.
 

Do you do home visits or a collection service?

Unfortunately this isn't something we're able to provide.
